Fazer Experience Visitor Centre

Public Transport: Fazerila is easily accessible by Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) buses. Depending on the bus line, get off at either the Fazerila or Fazerintie stop. From the Fazerila stops, it is less than 100 meters to the Visitor Centre, and from the Fazerintie stops, it is about 400 meters.

By Car: If you are coming by car, enter the address Fazerintie 6, Vantaa into your navigator. There is plenty of free parking available in the Visitor Centre area, about 300 meters from the main entrance, so you can leave your car worry-free and enjoy your visit. In front of the main entrance, there are three disabled parking spaces and a limited number of two-hour parking spots suitable for short visits. The area also has designated spots for electric cars with charging stations.

The Visitor Centre is fully accessible. All areas are barrier-free and there is an elevator to the upper floor. The exterior doors can be opened electronically from both outside and inside by pressing a button. The Visitor Centre features an accessible toilet equipped with a baby-care table. In front of the main entrance, there are three designated parking spaces for persons with impaired mobility. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome to the Visitor Centre.

Sustainability is at the heart of the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre. For Fazer, responsibility is a journey towards a better tomorrow. Visit Finland has awarded the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre the Sustainable Travel Finland label, highlighting the centre's commitment to sustainability.

Sustainability was central to the design when the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre opened in 2016. The Visitor Centre is designed to withstand time and wear, favoring domestic labor and materials. The facilities are accessible, and the biogas needed for heating is produced from Fazer's production waste. The energy used for lighting comes from solar panels on the roof of the adjacent office building.

When the exhibition was renewed in 2022, the themes of sustainability and innovation were particularly emphasized. With the guidance of an expert, visitors learn about the utilization of side streams, responsible sourcing, regenerative farming, and the well-being of people and the environment. The exhibition offers the opportunity to learn with all senses, interactively. Engaging works, stories, and living plants are an important part of the visitor experience, where enjoying sweets still has its place.

Waste generated in the kitchen, café, and shop is carefully sorted, and the range of plant-based products at Fazer Café has increased. Food waste is minimized in various ways, such as selling surplus products through the ResQ service.

Fazer collaborates with educational institutions and local actors, organizing, for example, handicraft workshops. Visitors, especially schoolchildren, are informed about recycling and encouraged to sort waste. The tropical indoor garden, outdoor garden, seasonal greenhouse in the yard, and the exhibition's hydroponic cultivation offer opportunities to learn new things and inspire visitors to try growing plants themselves.

The product selection in the shop emphasizes locality, and shopping and gift bags are made from either FSC-certified paper or Paptic, which are made from renewable and responsible raw materials. The bags can be recycled as paper or bio-waste, or reused.

The Fazer Experience Visitor Centre offers versatile meeting and event spaces for small groups and up to 200 people. The facilities are suitable for launches, presentations, and family celebrations. Fazerila has even hosted wedding parties.

Karl Fazer Hall: Named after the company's founder, this hall serves both corporate and private event organizers with elegant style and modern touches. The well-equipped hall is versatile, transforming from a 200-person meeting space to a 120-seat restaurant – or a 30-person workshop. The space is accessible.

Idea Bakery: Idea Bakery is a creative space and ideal bakery of the future, where the best strategy meeting solutions are born in a relaxed, modern setting. The latest technology enables focusing on effective meetings and teamwork. When a break is needed, there is a wonderful rooftop terrace for refreshment. The space is accessible.
