Welcome to every tea lover’s favorite destination – Forsman’s Tea Shop in Viinikkala, Vantaa!

The tea shop features a collection of over 300 loose tea varieties, stored in Forsman’s renowned red tin cans. Several specialties, such as Puerh tea, tea pearls and decorative tea flowers that will certainly impress your guests, enrich the product selection. Both classical blends and traditional varieties as well as new mixtures with surprising notes fill up the shelves of the store. Every spring, products consisting of the latest tea leave harvest arrive at the store. Forsman has an online store, but the actual shop has a waster product selection including teas and accessories not sold online.

The knowledgeable personnel assist you in finding the perfect tea for every occasion and all palates, and will gladly discuss matters related to optimal brewing methods, the health benefits of consuming tea and various worldwide tea cultures. Every visit to the tea shop will inspire you and provide the opportunity to find a new favorite.

Forsman Tea produces its high-quality blends according to own recipes. The manufacturing process takes place in the facility right next to the shop. Every week, one selected tea variety is available for guests to taste, and every product that is sold can be sampled free of charge by request.

Feel free to visit the shop and spend time at the lounge area with a comfortable couch, tea-related literature, magazine articles and coloring books for adults. Alternatively, your partner or family is welcome to relax on the couch while you get some alone-time to shop.

The tea shop is located in Viinikkala in Vantaa. The premises are visible from Ring Road III. From Helsinki Airport, a fifteen-minute drive takes you to the shop, and from Helsinki city center it takes about 25 minutes. If you are on vacation, you can conveniently pick up some presents from the store before catching your flight.

Public transport: The closest train stations are in Aviapolis and Kivistö, with about a four-kilometer distance to the store from both stations.

By car: There is a large parking area in front of the store. Even larger vehicles, such as buses, can be parked conveniently. Please beware that not all navigators find the address, and that the GPS signal may be lost occasionally.

By bike: You can leave your bike in the bicycle rack in front of the store.

Forsman’s tea leaves arrive from China, India and Sri lanka. Rooibos is bought from South Africa and Mate from South America. The majority of the tea leaves come directly from farmers, which means that it is possible to minimize the occurrence of middlemen and ensure that the company’s quality standards are met. Forsman’s personnel conduct regular visits to the tea and herb plantations.

Forsman has the largest selection of Fairtrade loose tea in Finland, and the company collaborates actively with Fairtrade Finland. Forsman actively strives to increase its selection of organic products. There are some limitations when it comes to the availability of organically produced ingredients, but the aim of the company is to improve the organic product range on a yearly basis. As of now, Forsman has about 40 organic tea blends, many of which are available also in local markets.

Forsman Tea’s tea production is FSSC 22000 certified.

The FSSC 22000 certification system sets safety standards for operators within the food industry, and Forsman’s production has been granted this certification.
