In one of Vantaa's central locations, Aviapolis, lies the Finnish Aviation Museum. The unique museum showcases Finnish aviation history. You will see different types of aircraft and can even enter the Convair Metropolitan airliner! The museum’s collection includes jet fighters, gliders, motors, propellers, scale models and many other interesting things – thousands of different items. Please note that the main exhibition halls are unheated, so dress appropriately according to weather. Visitors can try flying a Draken fighter on a simulator. Other simulators can be booked in advance, please note that you need to make the reservation at least a week prior to your visit. You need to be at least 10 years old and 150 cm (4’11’’) tall. You can tour the exhibitions on your own as well as with a guide. Scale models and other souvenirs can be purchased from the museum shop and the delicacies from café Yläpilvi will get your energy levels up. The Finnish Aviation Museum offers event and meeting venues that are definitely up to jet standards.

The Aviation Museum offers a unique environment for your meeting, public event or a celebration. The venue includes free Wi-Fi and entrance to the museum for all participants. The museum provides additional services such as catering from Café Yläpilvi, guided tours and flight simulators. Please book the group services at least one week, preferably two weeks in advance.
